Bio
Billy Collins grew up in Los Angeles, California, attended various public and private schools, and eventually attended Loyola High School where he graduated. He attended the University of San Francisco, got his degree, and worked as a freelance photographer until the need for a solid income pushed him into the auto sales industry. After several years selling cars, his creative need could not be suppressed, and Billy eventually gravitated to stand-up comedy.
His comedic style can be summed up as ranging from childishly silly to lovingly pointing out the humor in all events of life, to mercilessly attacking the hypocrisy of the system, in a manner that leaves audiences roaring with laughter. Billy has performed at the Comedy Store, in the Belly Room, the Original Room, and the Main Stage, the HaHa Café in North Hollywood, Flappers Comedy Club, and the Comedy Union in Los Angeles. TV credits include a spot on the Andy Dick Live show.
